The GPS application market is still very much in its infancy and as such it is very difficult to predict the requirements of future GPS-loggers especially bearing in mind the very wide, unforeseeable number of applications and customer specific requirements.

The GPS OEM-logger is used for evaluation purposes and to check which special adaptations are required with the final customer product using either identical hardware or existing design with minor changes.
