The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a widely available and standardised tool, which provides unequalled accuracy and flexibility of positioning for navigation, surveying and Geographic Information System (GIS) data capture for many revolutionary future applications.

Although standalone products are quite popular in the form of Portable Navigation Devices (PNDs), mobile phones, or car navigation systems, it is expected that new applications being developed on an almost daily basis will drive the demand for custom devices. Unfortunately, the often low volumes required and relatively high costs associated with the development of a complete GPS system are somewhat cost prohibitive at this embryonic stage of the market development.

Having accrued a vast knowledge and experience of GPS systems, Art of Technology has developed an OEM GPS Data-Logger as a standard module.

This module is designed so that it can be modified to fulfil the majority of requirements using different power sources, sensors, actuators, communication interfaces or a display as part of a semi custom solution for a moderate investment which is only a fraction of the cost of a full system development.
